The Gotten is a hard-hitting punk band with a fierce metal edge, forged in the heart of Dallas, Texas. What started with a simple conversation between seasoned Dallas musicians—bass player Brent MF Rambo and guitarist/vocalist Justin Pickard—quickly turned into a powerhouse collective. It all began with Brent saying to Justin, “I wanna start a punk band.” Justin, never one to miss a beat, responded with a simple, “I do too.” The rest, as they say, is history.

After writing a handful of tracks together, Justin recruited the incomparable lead guitarist Heath Brackett and drummer Brandon Keebler to round out the lineup.

The chemistry was instant. From their very first rehearsal, it was clear that The Gotten had found something special—a raw, unapologetic energy that could only come from a band that truly clicked.

With a sound that blends the relentless drive of punk with the technicality and heaviness of metal, The Gotten delivers a powerful wall of sound that is both aggressive and anthemic.
